I Entirely Relied on Her

I am a non-resident alien living in New York City, and I got pulled over by a police officer in Oregon while on vacation. I was given a citation for reckless driving and a speeding ticket.

Mrs. Sarah [Litowich] accepted to represent me in this double case. Although I should have returned to Oregon at some point, she worked it out so I could stay in NYC for the whole procedure. She expressly negotiated a diversion with the State of Oregon regarding the reckless driving misdemeanor and, eventually, she argued successfully that paying a speeding ticket would have been punishing me twice. I ended up serving only 8 hours of community service and taking an online driving course.

Due to my foreigner status, she gathered, as a courtesy, information on the immigration consequences I could have faced if I had been convicted. Mrs. [Litowich] was always reachable for any questions, and she proved herself to be very knowledgeable, professional, and efficient.
