Before consulting an attorney, we spent 3 months trying to resolve a dispute by ourselves. By the time we sought help we were extremely frustrated and losing sleep.

Based on Yelp reviews we called[, t]hey took some information over the phone and Sarah [Litowich] agreed to talk to us. When we arrived she had already done some research and had a good idea of what laws might have been broken. She listened to us, carefully looked over our documentation, and double checked the figures. Based on that, she showed us what code she believed had been violated and we discussed our options.

She was able to resolve the dispute in a matter of weeks with a couple of well worded letters. She reminded the other party what code had been violated, cited a supporting case for recovering damages, and suggested the other party might also want to pay our attorney fees. She did this with aplomb and a touch of humor, quickly resolving the dispute.

We found Sarah professional and competent. She kept us informed and we wholeheartedly recommend her as an attorney.

I am a non-resident alien living in New York City, and I got pulled over by a police officer in Oregon while on vacation. I was given a citation for reckless driving and a speeding ticket.

Mrs. Sarah [Litowich] accepted to represent me in this double case. Although I should have returned to Oregon at some point, she worked it out so I could stay in NYC for the whole procedure. She expressly negotiated a diversion with the State of Oregon regarding the reckless driving misdemeanor and, eventually, she argued successfully that paying a speeding ticket would have been punishing me twice. I ended up serving only 8 hours of community service and taking an online driving course.

Divorce is already a stressful ordeal and the last thing anyone wants in this situation is more stress. Luckily, Sarah and Amy made the process as quick and simple as possible. This was a custody case where the father left the kids in our care and never came back for them and hasn't provided any support for 2 years. This case was unusual because the mother lives in the Philippines and wouldn't give us her address for a long time and the father hid from everyone for about 9 months to keep from having to support his children. We finally were able to get both their address after a long wait and she was able to get them served. We finally got custody by default. Sarah handle this in a professional manner. One nice thing though, she was able to handle our case with email and secure esignatures, which means we could review and sign documents easily and conveniently. We would recommend Sarah to handle a child custody case.

Ms Litowich represented me in a very high conflict divorce and custody case. I just cannot say enough great things about her. She is professional, intelligent, full of integrity and morals, which is soooo rare and hard to find in an attorney. Judges and other court staff respect her, which can be tricky for a female attorney, since the court of law is still very much a "man's world". My life is essentially all hard times, recently I was put through a family dispute that was not going to end in my favor on any level and I knew it. Furthermore he was willing to work within my budget where-as other attorneys essentially had me pay them to tell me that I can't afford them...
